Compaq Presario screensaver

I have a Compa Presario 7360. When I recal my screen from the screensaver, it comes up with a screen resolution that requires scrolling to veiw the entire screen. I cannot find the area to set resolution so that I can view the entire screen at one time. When the computer boots up the resolution is fine.
