Compatibility of G4MX440-VTP Graphic Card with MSI P4MAM2-V Motherboard

Hello,

I recently borrowed a graphic card from a friend as I want to spread my display over 2 monitors. The Graphic Card is a G4MX440-VTP. My motherboard a MSI P4MAM2-V. Problem is, when I start my computer with both monitors plugged into the graphic card, I see the normal Windows start sequence and the Windows XP logo on both screens, but as soon as I should see the Windows Welcome/Login screen, my computer restarts. There is a short flash of a blue screen error on the second monitor, which I’ve never been able to read (or have my computer stop on). Both monitors work perfectly fine on their own. I have yet to test both VGA slots on the card itself, but I presume their both fine as I DO see (part of) the start up sequence. Is the graphic card simply too old? Is it incompatible with my motherboard/or with Windows XP? What can I do? Thanks
