Computer Name Alias How to?

Hey one my clients question
– He is having one computer
Name = ABCD
Ip = 10.102.68.114

When he pings for ABCD it works fine
ping ABCD …
……. Successfully (10.102.68.114)

Now he wants to change the computer name for his reference only and NOT ACTUALLY RENAMING THE COMPUTER.

I mean he want to use “sarvesh” instead of “ABCD” as a computer name FOR HIS REFERENCE ONLY.

then he is going to ping like

ping sarvesh
…. Successfully (10.102.68.114)

I remind he is not Physically changing the computer name from ABCD to sarvesh.

Anybody please tell me how to make it possible.
