Computer name alias

hey frnds one of my client ask me
he is having two computeres
1) name = ABCD ip= 10.102.12.114
2) name = EFGH ip = 10.102.12.115

Now when he pings to ABCD it goes successfull

Now he want to change the name of ABCD to say “computer1” for his reference only

i mean physically he is not goign to change the name of computer 1 from ABCD to computer1
He wants changes for only his machine not for others

i mean if he pingsto computer1 then it should go to ping ABCD

and that time other users can ping to ABCD will go to ABCD only

Example

1)ping ABCD
….. Successfull (10.102.12.114)

Now when he want to modify somethings which will enable him for

ping computer1
……… successfull (10.102.12.114)

Please let me know thins thing
