Computer SHUTS DOWN if cool

I have a pc running XP Home that the power just keeps shutting down. The temps seem fine, changed ram. The strange thing is, when the machine is cool you have to keep restarting it because it just shuts off but if the machine is warmed up it will run for hours and hours. I don’t know what else to think. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
