Hello I am in extreme need of help. I am using my laptop to post right now. My desktop has recently been attacked by a sasser virus and it attacked and deleted the lsass.exe file. I can no longer log onto my profile or any profiles. I have tried safe mode and last known configuration and nothing. I dont want to have to reinstall Media Center again if possible. Is there a way anybody knows that I can use my laptop to access the hard drive and either repair and replace the file OR atleast use my laptop to get onto the harddrive and save all the files onto this harddrive. I want to find anyway possible to regain my harddrive files especially since many of them are downloads I paided for and alot of data will be lost as well as some important documents I had there.Please if anybody can help I would greatly appreciate it.
