Hi All
I haven’t posted in awhile but I have found this great CMS package called Concrete 5. It came out to the Open Source world last year and is gaining a good following. Developers from around the world are translating it and it is gaining in popularity.
Some reviewers of CMS packages are raving about it and design companies are starting to recommend this product to their clients. It has a great in-line text editor and capabilities of image input and management that is far more simpler to use than even a lot of the commercial CMS packages on the market. It is easy to install and manage and is currently stable on a LAMP system. Some developers have installed it on a Windows Server but I have never done this.
The CMS package does not have as many add-ons as other more mature open source CMS packages but that is being fixed by very enthusiastic pundits of the community. Themes and templates are easy to create and/or modify and with its in-line editing capability, it is by far the simplest CMS package I have used to date. It is powerful and can be used for sites with thousands of pages and light enough so that a small to medium sized company can finally get a CMS package that will fit their need(s).
I recommend that everyone take a look at this great content management system.
Thanks
