Concurrent Connections in Netware 5.1

When I go to rconsole and take a look at connections I see all my users connected twice? One of them has an * by their name (That’s the active connection) and the other does not. I have Zenworks 1.1 installed but am not currently using it. My question is why are users connected twice? Is this taking up licenses? Any help would be great.
