Conficker phones home on April 1: Y2K or April Fool?

by robo_dev . Updated 17 years, 2 months ago

April 1st, as many of us know, is when the conficker worm ‘phones home’.

This is the worm that has infected millions of PCs and Microsoft has offered a $250K reward for finding the people responsible.

What do you think? April-fools joke or some serious consequences?

Note the Y2K reference since nothing bad really happened after 11:59:59 on 12/31/99.
