I have a 4 TP port ADSL router / modem installed and I wish to connect just one of the available 4 ports to my server and use proxy server to give access to the internet to the other 10 PC`s on my network. I have the second network card installed and NT4 is configured to see this card. The existing card has been given the gateway address of the new card but dispite trying various methods I can not ping the internal gateway IP of the router / modem.
Connecting a single PC to one of the available ports on the router works fine. I just can not seem to set up the Server to allow shared access.
I a need a step by step guide on setting this up. Unfortunately my ISP will not support this option and will not advise me.
