Connect a Win 2k Server to Novell Server

I have a client which whom I’m setting up a new Windows 2000 Network for. They have an older Novell Server with data on it that I need to move over to 2000. They want to leave the existing Novell Server up for a while as a safegaurd. How do I configure the new Windows 2000 Server to talk with the Novell Server so I can transfer files? I’m not familiar with Novell, just 2k. Not sure of the version of the Novell Server either.
