Connect one computer by ethernet in wireless home

Hi-I have a wireless network in my home but our newest computer is not picking up a strong signal and cuts off a lot. Is it possible to connect just that computer directly to the phone jack and bypass the wireless network in the house? The service is Verizon DSL.
