Connect separate LAN’s with wireless

I am trying to connect two buildings via a wireless connection. My goal is for both buildings to be on the same LAN.
I have a WAP connected to the main network sitting in a window facing the second building. I have an external antenna on the side of the second building with clear line of sight approximately 200 feet connected to a second AP set as an AP Client.
Should be an easy connection, but no go.
Do I need to have one or both WAP’s configured in Bridge mode?
