Connect SQL 7.0 to Exchange 5.5

Is it possible for SQL Server 7.0 to connect to Exchange Server 5.5 so that the public folders in Exchange appear as tables in SQL?

Ultimately, I want to publish the public folders of Exchange on an Intranet/Extranet, using Frontpage2000 to construct the ASP database search pages.

If anyone has a better way to do this, I am open to suggestions!!
