Hi,
I hope I explain this correctly.
I have a firewall and have people vpn into my network from home. The users that are having the problems are users going through a router from there home. On my network I have approx. 10 servers. They are unable to ping my production server and my test production server. They can ping all the other servers. My production server is connected to a nas(for storage). On my production server and test production server I setup a little private network. So they each have two network adapter cards, one for the lan and one for the private network(the nas) all the other servers have 1 lan card. The lan starts with a ip address of 172.***.***.*** and my private network starts with 192.168.1.***.
I’m really not sure why they are unable to ping these 2 servers. They do have there home network setup with the ip address range of 192.168.1.***.
I’ve asked them to change the 3rd octate to 10 instaed of 1. Thinking it my be colliding with my private network somehow. Is this correct way of thinking. Any help would be appreciated.
