Hello everyone,
This site has been tremendously helpful in the past. I hope you can also help with this post.
Right now I work for a small company stationed in NC. We have a remote location in KS, with plans to open a third location in OH.
At our home office we have multiple Win2003 servers(DNS, DHCP, ect.) All traffic passes through my Watchguard X700, out of my CISCO, which is acting like a public router, and out my T1.
At my KS location, there are only 10 PCs. No server, and everyone logs in locally, passes through a small Watchguard Edge, and out via the local business cable service.
In preparing for our third location, I am setting up the Server at our home office. Right now it plugs into a separate ext. port on myX700 and is on a different subnet.
What will I need to do to connect my home office Domain with the other sites. (I’m pretty sure I will need to put a server at KS and create a Domain there). I would like to be able to open up my network neighborhood and see all domains and be able to access each PC from there.
Thank you for your help.
