Connected to Internet thru wireless but IE will not connect

My wife has done something to her laptop, it had been working fine until today. She is connected to the internet thru our wireless router but IE will not connect. When i log out of her profile and log into my profile IE connects. Something is wrong with her profile. Please HELP
