Connecting a Mac to a Novell Network

My company will be getting a Mac shorting and I plan on it being a stand alone systems, but I would like to hook it to my novell 6.0 network. Besides loading the novell client for Mac on it, is there anything else that would need to be done. Any help would be appreciated.
