Connecting across the parking lot

My company is looking to move our office. The most likely candidtate is to purchase a building in a office park across the parking lot from another building that we already own.

I would like to set up a backup server/equipment set in the second office.

What recommendations are there for connecting the two buildings? Who do I contact to find out about conduit we could share etc, gigabit speed would be important.

Any ideas or recommendation would be great.
