Connecting to printers in a satellite office

by rich j . Updated 17 years, 6 months ago

Hi,
I’m not sure this is possible, but you don’t get if you don’t ask.

I have a server set up in a main office as follows:
MS Server SBS 2003 as main server
MS Server 2003 Standard as terminal/file/print server

Users in satellite offices connect to the TS machine via RDP in order to access a company database package.
As part of the daily routine, we need to be able to print job sheets locally in each office, but the local printers aren’t seen by the server.

Is there any way for me to be able to connect these remote printers to the server (I have useful info like IP addresses, etc)?
Each user has checked the printers box under local resources when setting up the RDP connection, but they aren’t pulling through that way.

A previous company I worked for used Screwdrivers software, but it proved a pain in the rear end.

Cheers
Rich
