Connecting to SQLBase via MS SQL Server

I am trying to ‘link’ to our ADP Payroll database(SQLBase) via SQL Server Enterprise Manager(version 2000). That will give us the ability to write SQL (and maybe stored procs) within Enterprise Manager. I’m not sure if I can (or how)use an ODBC connection like we currently do with the Crystal Reports tool. If you do know the answer, could you detail-out the steps since I’m not too familiar with connecting to other databases within SQL Server Enterprise Manager. Thanks a lot!
