Connecting Windows Server 2003 to Internet

I have a Windows Server 2003 domain controller that can’t connect to the Internet. Before it was a DC, I was able to connect to the Internet, but not anymore. I configured the firewall and I know it is connected to the network because I can connect to it using Remote Desktop from my laptop. But I’ve been trying to download some updates from the Microsoft website and not even there can i connect. Any suggestions? Thanks
