Connecting Zyxel 660 to Motorola Surfboard

Hello everyone. I got a cable internet connection with Motorola Surfboard. I also got Zyxel 660, an ADSL modem with wifi router. I also got 2 wifi-enabled laptops, and I need to share this internet connection between them. I suspect my internet connection is bound to the MAC address of the network card in one of the laptops. I have tried setting up the connection in a number of ways, but with no success so far. When I use cables to insert the router between the laptop and the cable modem, everything seems to be fine. I just need to get some wireless internet here 🙂 Would appreciate any hints.
