Constructing a naming convention

Does anyone have any good ideas for a UNC for an NT network. Currently I only have 15 computers, but my network is growing almost daily. I need to come up with a good, easy to understand and implement UNC for my current computers and for news as they come on board.
Had thought about using employee names, but if they leave, the computer has to be renamed. Same as with using initials within the name. I’ve ran out of ideas and am running out of time before the network gets too big.
