Content related job market in Honolulu, HI

Dear Experts

I have recently moved to Honolulu from India.

Professionally, I am seeking a position to utilize my 8 years experience of people interaction, information extraction, writing, and documentation skills to develop end user friendly products, services, and results.

However, all job sites, (CB, DICE, Monster, et al) lead me to nowhere.

I am wondering now, how to best utilize my skills and intelligence. I want to stick to team work, and love technology topics, have been a technical writer, instructional designer, and a supervisor/manager as well.

Wonder, if I can get some ideas from the lucky ones out there.
