I am asking a question on behalf of my supervisor that is continously having her NT domain account locked out after changing her login password at the server. the factors are as follows:
Windows 2000 pro logging into NT 4 server. Password changed 4 days ago. Account shows to be locked out about every hour or less when going to user properties under User Manager. Account has to be unlocked before logging in or that resources can be used again.
I have searched and found results at Microsofts support web site that talk about reasons for account lockout…but there has to be a more simple explanation of why an NT domain account is locked out periodically after a password change.
