Convergence OF 3G and Broadband

I am sitting in my office and looking at the possibilities of CDMA/3G profitable services and thought there does not seem a lot of Convergence going on between 3G and fixed line Internet i.e. mobile video messaging and say hotmail instant messaging. does any one believe that 3G can turn a profit
