Hello all and thank you in advance for the replies and help.. We have a acces database which we are tryng to migrate to MSDE and I do not have the slightest clue on how to deploy this succesfully. I have been reading a lot of white papers regarding MSDE and pretty much grasp a little of it. My question is can any one help me either by pointing me to a post that this has been talked about and resolved with the answers or direct me to a step by step intergration of acces database and msde deployment? What would be the correct way and easy way of doing this and making sure it is doing what we want it to do which is MSDE running the database engine portion of it since the database front end is access that is how they open the databse when we are working on it? There is 10 employees 1 win2k3 EE server domain 10 xp-pro workstations joined to the domain. I have installed MSDE on the server and MSDE is running I also have used the UPSIZE wizard in access to transfer the database to the MSDE DATA folder but i dont know if is properly setup. Have i done this wright already or did i mess up by doing this? How can i VERIFY MSDE is doing all the work? Again thank you in advance for all your help.
