My client is moving from a Netware 4.11 server to a peer to peer MS network. I need to copy the data files stored on the Netware PC to a new PC running XP Pro.
I am unfamiliar with Netware, but I am an MCSE on NT. Client would prefer not to call in the Netware contractor to do this.
What are the best options to move the data? Take out the hard drive from the old PC and hook it up to the new one and do a copy using Windows Explorer?

Same thing with command line using Xcopy
or
Copyfrom one PC to another using Windows Explorer (very slow I would imagine)
or
another solution
We are talking about 2-3 gigs of data files at most. No CD burner on the old PC and I do mean old PC!
