Copying Folders

I am trying to copy a directory and sub-directores from a Win ’98 machine to a Win XP machine. My client has said that it is very important to keep the creation date of the folders the same. Of course every time I try to copy them (via win explorer, xcopy, pc anywhere file transfer and winzip) the folder creation on the new machine changes to the current time. Does anyone have a solution to this?? Can it be done??
