Copying roaming profiles folder

I had a file server and the roaming profiles folder was hosted on it.
Due to some problems i need to move the profiles folder onto a different hard disk, but because of tight security permission applied by windows 2003, i am not able to copy paste the folder. it gives me access denied msg.

one way that i know is to take a backup of that folder and restore it onto the other partition. But this is not feasible in case of huge data.

Is there any other way, like any tool for solving this problem. It copies the whole folder with security permissions intact as original
