Corrupt entry in preferred wireless networks XP_SP2 Pro

by richrv59 . Updated 19 years ago

I have what seems to be a corrupt entry in the WLAN preferred Networks table. This only happens with the Windows management tool. If I install the Dell WLAN application the entry does not exist.

I have tried to remove the entry, but when I apply the change, I get an error message “At least one of your changes was not applied successfully to the wireless configuration”

I can add, remove or edit any other entry in this list, but not this specific entry.

I have removed the WLAN card, reinstalled it, checked the registry from beginning to end but cannot find any entry for this specific AP.

I can remember once connecting to this network on one of my travels around and never really attempted to work with it until I was cleaning up the old entries.

Where does this configuration get stored( Registry, file ??)

Thanks
