Corrupt Lotus Notes file

Is there are solution for corrupted file in Lotus Notes version 8?

I have over 2 years of archived emails that I cannot access due to this error and this seems like a long standing support issue that has not been resolved and it is rather frustrating to archive religiously only to receive that error and lose everything.
