CPU Boots to Black Screens after software update

Video software Pinnacle Studio 10 was upgraded by internet to 10.7, additional patch to 10.7, then upgraded to 10.8. After restart, only one of three monitors are up, cursor frozen, then many button resets to reboot. Now, blank screens w/ mouse arrow. Restored to earlier time, no luck. Safe Mode, uninstalled software, get error 5004 that won’t let the uninstall to complete. CPU loads Windows XP Pro, then goes to black screens. What to do ?
