CPU/MB question-easiest 150 points ever!

Curious if I can put a processor rated 800mhz or above onto a motherboard who will recognize up to a PIII or Celeron 700mhz.

I have an ABIT BH6(rev.1) motherboard and would like to upgrade the CPU from it’s current Celeron 333mhz ~ the bios upgrade will allow recognition of up to a PIII or Celeron 700, but what I am able to find locally is a Celeron 900 (min.) or a PIII 866…I would love to go as high as possible on this board without the possibility of doing any damage….I don’t want tohave to install 15 fans! 🙂

Has anyone ever successfully installed a higher “rated” processor into a motherboard, and if so, what special precautions (if any) are necessary….
