Create the setup of vlan in xp prop. or a 2000 prop.

I want to create a vlan setup in win xp prop. or in a 2000 prop. how its create the setup.
my query is that in my workplace i have a domain win server 2003 in our client site the server is not their ,the server xp prop. i am created in vpn connection in my win server 2003 but i am configured in my client site , how its configured , & what is the steps of in my client (XP Prop.) site.
