Creating DOS Batch Files

Does anyone know of any sites, book, newsgroups where I can learn to create batch files.

My first project is to create a boot disk to be used on a blank drive to load the drivers for an external SCSI CD-Rom then load Windows 95 off the CD.

Any suggestions?
