Hey all.
If anyone could help me with this problem I would appreciate it. I have a soyo dragon plus motherboard running windows 2000, and I got a creative v.92 modem. I cannot get this modem to work. It gives me and error that says that the modem on the other computer is not responding which I know is not the case because the modem does not even try to dial. I have tried to call just a friend home phone and it does not even dial, It makes no sound either. I know that the modem is good becauseit works fine in my friends machine which is running win 98. It could be an issue with win2000 but creative tells me this is a microsoft problem and I told them that it is their problem due to the fact that they write the drivers and this modem is not on the HCL for win2000 and they say it works in win2000. I have tried every setting I can find for the modem and in the bios and I am having no luck. If anyone has an answer to this I would appreciate some help.
