CRM Systems

I lead a small team of four. And currently to track tasks that we are currently working on we are just entering them into an Excel spreadsheet. Not very efficient sometimes as things get deleted and go undone when people are on holidays. i was looking at the solutions base on the website and i noticed a whole section on CRM’s that have trial versions but also free applications. What i was looking for was something that could track are task and that we could put in updates in. Also we would have to be able to transfer tasks into other peoples queues when they were away. I was a bit lost with the amount of CRm’s. Has anybody actually tried these out and if they have what did they find were the best ones. Thanks in advance.
