Customize the start menu

by mortaza07 . Updated 19 years, 2 months ago

Hi,

We are running Windows Server 2003 Domain, with Windows XP SP2 Clients( around 100 ).

We have some users in a limited access group. they are limited only to internet explorer and adobe reader.

these users are having roaming profiles and redirected start menu folder.

the start menu is customized through group policy.but i have two issues remaining.

1.I have disabled the ability to hide/unhide the address bar in internet explorer, but how to hide it??

2.No program (except IE and Adobe Reader), can be executed, but how do i customize the start menu so that only these two programs are listed??

this has to be done for existing and also new users which will be added to this group in future.

Your help will be appreciated

Thanks,

Sachin
