Running win XPMedia Center Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
All programs were working normal.
Needed to create a DVD disk. Use CyberLink
Power2Go for my DVD disk recording
When I click the Power2Go icon on the
desktop, a brief hourglass shows, but program will not open.
Contact Gateway (computer)
and
CyberLink (program)
Gateway offered nothing as unit out of warrenty.
Tried reinstall Power2Go.
Reinstall goes OK. Program still won;t open. CyberLink sends method to remove traces of original Power2Go, from registry and computer. Follow all offered proceedures. Power2Go still won’t open. If in Administrator mode, Power2Go will open. Seems a compatability situation. Unable to pinpoint what is incompatable and preventing it to run as ‘Owner’.
Checked for virus, bots, and cleaned registry, Power2Go still won’t open in Owner mode.
I’m stuck.
