d-link help

bought a d-link 604 router to set a LAN between 2 computers at home. got everything set up and it says they are enabled. When i open up the status of the network it says there are packets incoming and outgoing. but when logging on to the internet… using dial-up. i cannot access the internet on both computers just the one that i dial up from. or when trying to set up a lan game i cannot find the host? any help? please and thank you
