Dailing though the the internet in Windo

My modem model is Conexant soft56k V.90 speakerphone with voice. When I upgraded my windows 2000 to windows XP, I couldn’t have access to the internet.Then I downloaded the driver for that modem but when I dail The number of the server,the Windows XP askes me to pick up the phone and dail the nubmer with my hand then press OK in the Error massege.How can I get my modem dail automatically ?
