Daisy Chain Backup Devices

We have 2 File Servers and a GroupWise mail server which are already beiong backed up. However, our file servers are getting a little full. The consideration is that we setup a dasiy chain of the 3 ultrium2 backup devices and have it start the backup with a server and should it run out of space on that tape, move on to the next device which is ready with a clean tape.

Has anyone tried this? If so, how’d you set it up?
