What causes a data CD-ROM to be recognized as a Audio CD-ROM under Windows 98? This problem is occurring on a Toshiba notebook.
You can take the CD-ROM to another computer and see the data files on the disc but you cannot see the data files on thisdisc when the disc is loaded in the notebook. When you use File Manager or Windows Explorer to view the disc on the Toshiba notebook, it only shows one CDA file instead of several directories that contain data files. The CD player also launches whenthis CD is loaded in the system. Is this a hardware problem, disc problem or a Windows file association problem?
