Date changed 8yrs during arcserve backup

I know this is crazy. But I looked at my event log and noticed the time changed sometime bet 12 am and 1am. During that time im backing up my exchange server and the clock changed from 11/06/2000 to 11/06/2008. Any Ideas how and why?
