DCOM+ Event ID 10009

During a demotion of a Win2k Server the dcpromo failes and we were forced to perform a dcpromo /forced. We then went through our Win 2003 R2 server and performed a metadata cleanup, and any DNS settings that were asssocaiated with this server. Since this time we have recieved the following error.

DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer %servername% using any of the configured protocols.

I have reasearched this error everywhere I can think of. And nothing has worked so far. I am sure it has to be something that we missed in the cleanup to remove the old setting that were listing this unit as a DC.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
