I thought that my Security Center was sending me messages saying that something was wrong with my computer and to “click this baloon to learn how to rid of the virus” (yes balloon spelled wrong) I didn’t notice the spelling error until later. The first thing I noticed was my “security” center icon was fatter and different looking, so obvious that it is a bug.
There is also a caution yellow triangle with an exclamation point inside that i have seen before, but this one is also different looking.
I went to my real security center, and the icon was now the real one on the taskbar.
I ran Norton Antivirus and it found nothing.
There are many pornographic pop-ups that come up to when I am not connected to the internet.
Fake Security Help Center screens keep popping up also. It is hard to tell the difference between the real screens and the fake.
I proceded to revamp my computer yet the fake “system alert!” balloons continue, and have taken over my homepage with bogus anti-virus websites.
and after my long rant….
HELP!?
