Default Gateway on Linux Redhat 8.0

Does anyone know what command to run or file to edit to change the default gateway on redhat 8.0 and have it survive a reboot?

The gui interface won’t work because we administer this via a modem. On solaris one needs only to vi the defaultrouter file and everything is done.

Help would be much appreciated.
