“Default” selection on NT4.0 boot loader

When I reboot my NT 4.0 server and the NT boot loader comes up it has a selection called “Default” under the usual NT 4.0 Operating System and NT 4.0 Operating System (VGA Mode) selection. The biggest problem is that this is the default selection and the timer for OS load does not run in the usual manner. This is a concern to me becuase if I remotely reboot the server it does not automatically come back up because of this. Any ideas? By the way the boot.ini does not show this line.
